We are currently looking for a motivated individual who is eager to work on motion analysis applications through wearable sensors, with a strong focus on application of machine learning.
You feel comfortable in a small, agile team and are not afraid to work autonomously. We live and foster open and transparent communication and encourage you to develop and propose solutions and ask questions.

What you will be doing
You will take on a key role in our Machine Learning development for motion analysis, working on developing the whole ML pipeline, from data exploration and pre-processing, to model development/training/validation/evaluation, and visualisation of results
You directly collaborate with the Founders, interacting with a small team of engineers and designers to meet team objectives
This position will run for 6-12 months depending on your availability, working to deadlines for an exciting collaborative project.
This is a remote work position with weekly team updates via video calls.
Skills & experience
Experience in past Machine Learning applications is essential. You must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in programming and application of machine learning models (e.g. ANNs on time series data), and be experienced with software development in Python, using PyTorch or TensorFlow libraries
A description of past projects where you have taken significant initiative (e.g. personal projects, competitions, hackathons), is a big plus - link to your GitHub (or similar) repo if available
Practical experience of software coding with a hardware element
Experience in code testing and best practices (e.g. CI/CD)
Software versioning - Git
Other desirable skills
Familiarity with motion sensing, mainly Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs)
Experience working in a fast-paced agile development environment
Understanding and application of sensor fusion techniques in real-world scenarios
Solid maths and physics background
Experience in human motion analysis, biomechanics or robotics (kinematics and dynamics) is highly desirable
